My Skin Taught Me Everything
From a lifetime of prescriptions to a life free from them — this is my story, and it's why I do this work.
The Early Years
I don't remember a time before eczema. It's been part of my life since I was a baby — the itching, the flare-ups, the constant search for relief.
For years, that search led me down one path: prescriptions. One cream after another, one steroid after the next, always managing, never healing.
It became normal to me. I didn't know there was another way to live — I just knew how to cope.
Turning Point
By the time I reached my twenties, I was tired. Tired of the cycle. Tired of treating the same symptoms over and over without ever asking why they kept coming back.
So I made a decision that felt terrifying at the time: I declined another prescription.
It wasn't a dramatic before-and-after moment — it was the start of a much longer journey. One where I had to unlearn everything I thought I knew about my skin, and start asking different questions. Not "what cream will calm this down?" but "what is my body trying to tell me?"
Path to Healing
That question changed everything.
I began exploring natural, holistic approaches — looking at gut health, nutrition, stress, and the deeper root causes that had never once come up in all those years of prescriptions. It wasn't quick, and it wasn't always easy. But slowly, my skin began to change. And so did I.
For the first time, I wasn't just managing my eczema. I was healing it.
Why I do This Work
That experience changed the direction of my life.
I trained as a nutritional practitioner, specialising in eczema healing, because I wanted to give other people what I wish I'd had years earlier: a guide who had actually lived it, and who knew there was a path beyond prescriptions.
I know what it's like to feel like your skin is something you'll just have to manage forever. I also know that's not true.
This work isn't theoretical for me. It's personal. Every client I work with, I bring the same curiosity and care that finally got me answers — because I know firsthand what it feels like on the other side of healing.
Today, I help adults with eczema do what I once thought was impossible: get to the root of their skin issues and build a real, lasting path to healing — not just another routine to manage symptoms.
If you're where I once was — tired, unsure if healing is even possible for you — I'd love to show you that it is.
